“Free To Fly”                    

The Unique and Valued course helps young women to realize their potential, self worth and value.  Using crafts, multi media, music, positive speak and participation, this will challenge and transform their perception of themselves and others.

It will impact and be the catalyst for the start of change, which will not only positively impact and affect their outlook and lives, but also the community, they live in.  It will engage young women with creative activities that will build positive self awareness and self esteem.  This will give them new skills, encourage them to discuss and ask questions of themselves, others and the world around them.  This will include everyone, regardless of race or faith groups.  This will reduce isolation and teach young women how to listen to one another with mutual respect and care. Encouraging them to see that they need to take responsibility for what they do or choose not to do. This will enable the young woman to unlock their potential by acknowledging their past, enabling them to take hold of their present and equipping them to make positive and informed choices in their lives to move forward.

Once the young person has finished the Unique and Valued course they can access our mentoring program. This will help the young women to continue to sustain the changes they have made during the course and enable them to continue to make more positive changes in the future.
